C. Modestus is an omnivorous freshwater puffer from southeast asia.  The golden puffer eats seeds as well as the normal fare of crusteaceans and mollusks.  It will also feed on terrestrial insects which happen to fall into the water.  They are aggressive puffers.
This puffer bears the same common name as Arothron meleagris, which is a marine pufferfish.
